Gathering Experiences that are Meaningful

If you sign up and try it out and it’s not for you, it’s very easy to cancel. So you don’t need to be worried about getting stuck.

Meeting new people and connecting with people we already know is all possible on my secure website.

There are forums to share on topics of creativity, as well as message others directly knowing it is secure and confidential.

It is not part of social media.

Last year my friend, who lives in Toronto, and I took the same on-line Immersion course to learn Surface Pattern Design. As a result we have this shared experience together and lots to talk about as we shared this learning experience in parallel.

Sharing experiences are how we foster connection with friends and this could be a lovely thing for friends to do together, even though you are physically apart.

In addition – through the way that Bonnie Christine structured the course, we had study groups and now I am friends with 5 wonderful women from my time zone. We all cheer each other on in our creative pursuits.

This experience taught me that it is possible to have that sense of connection with people who don’t live in my same town. We have something in common and we “get each other” and that makes all the difference. Communities can certainly be in lots of forms.

Wherever you are on your creative journey or your journey with creativity, you will feel welcome here. It has been my experience that the GEMs are interested in learning new things, bringing their humour and insights into conversations. Ultimately they are kind, respectful and fun. We’re GEMs!
