Description
This blue cyanotype print is made under the summer sun in my garden with flowers that I have grown on my little flower farm on Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada.
Scarves become such special additions that can really make our look or they can be a meaningful gift for someone you know will love it.
As this Habotai Silk Scarf goes out into the world to be worn by you or given as a gift, I am so curious about the places it will go and the adventures it will join you on
I wish you peace on your path. Lise-Lotte

Are you familiar with cyanotype?
It’s an old form of photography. I prepare the cotton paper or cloth. I expose it to the sun with, in my case, botanicals on top. After a few minutes, I take the botanicals off and rinse it under water – and then I have my cyanotype print. This is the original blueprint- that’s where the term blueprint comes from.
If you are interested in learning more about my story in cyanotype, see Out of the Blue on my website.
