Like all creative endeavours, I started out with an idea.
I now sit on the other side of bringing that idea to life.
It’s not a boastful feeling, it’s a grateful, humbling feeling.
Why?
Because my idea only half involves me.
To bring this idea to life- women who started as strangers came with their curiosity, their kindness, some paper + colouring pencils + a few everyday art supplies.
And together we had a lovely experience, right here in my little studio where the grape leaves have covered 2/3 of my window.
My original idea was to invite people to join me in a gentle way back to their creativity.
Using simple projects and techniques they can use in whatever creative challenges are ahead, we made some fun stuff together.
It’s not only about the stuff. It’s not only about the product, it’s not all about our Present Bags ( although they each carry wonderful creative things!)
The reason that I feel humbled is that women from 11 countries came and trusted me enough to give me three hours of their valuable time whether live or in watching the replays. In exchange, people are telling me that they feel like they have “permission to play”, they feel like they have come back to something, something that is important to return to.
Because coming back to your creativity isn’t only about creativity. It’s really about coming back to your life, your self- the best, happiest version of yourself. That’s a gift for you and for those around you.
At the end of today’s Begin Again session, I thanked people for coming. ( I am not kidding when I say what lovely energy these people have brought into my studio)

Creative Again is a 12 week immersive experience where we learn to apply the core principles of my Flora Creativity Practice to unlock our own unique creativity.
Each week we will learn to apply one of the elements of the Flora Creativity Practice through making fun stuff, having interesting conversations and asking big questions in a kind, safe and respectful environment for you to become creative again.
You leave with a creative mindset which means that you approach problems and challenges in life, work, and family life with a different perspective. Having creativity walk alongside you during difficult and challenging times is life changing.
I have made a very special box that accompanies this experience. So that aside from a very few things like scissors, you will have 12 weeks where we will make things and you don’t need to go and find the supplies. You can just have fun.
To say that I am excited to share this with everyone is an understatement.
Imagine at the end of 12 weeks having had the transformational experience of coming back to your creativity alongside women from all over the world doing the same.
We have a private community set up so that you can meet and share with others in our community.
We will have a live once a week- just as we did in Begin Again.

Creative Again starts on September 21st and runs for 12 weeks.
The investment for this is $997 Canadian dollars.
Doors opened Friday September 11th and close Friday September 18th.
