As you may know I hosted some of my GEM members in my garden for dinner ahead of Creativity Day the next day.
There were several gifts that I didn’t anticipate.
One was this..
We meet the last Wednesday of the month (like a book club except no one needs to drag the vacuum out because it’s over zoom!)
We have been doing this for 2 years.
Most people have never met in person.
This week 3 Founding Members met in person.
Founding Members are the people who have been with me since the beginning when I started an adventure and invited women along on Instagram without anything to offer them in terms of content, a website, or workshops – I offered my honesty and authenticity and they brought their sense of adventure — and here we are!
I have a private GEMs website, more than a dozen workshops and lots of tutorials and we’ve had so many laughs over zoom —-as I have watched these adventurers explore so many aspects of their own creativity.
And all this has led to some really amazing transformations.
But what I hadn’t anticipated was how alongside the creative journey, they were getting to know each other and become friends.
They brought thoughtful gifts for one another from jars of homemade jam to momentos from travels that would be meaningful for the receiver to books that have helped them that they thought would help another….
Wow.
Meaningful stuff.
I must say that I am really blown away by what I consider to be meaningful success.
I am so grateful for this experience.
I am so grateful to have met these amazing women. And equally delighted that they have met each other!
Do you belong to a creative group? What does it give you? What do you love most about it?
